  • Q: What is ClassroomZoom.com?

    A: ClassroomZoom.com is an online subscription service that provides educators access to over 10,000 lesson plans and activities, including hundreds of clip art and tools to create math worksheets, crossword puzzles and wordsearches.

  • Q: How does the subscription service work?

    A: When you first sign up for ClassroomZoom.com, you will be asked to subscribe online or enter a Registration Number (found in boxed copies of ClassroomZoom.com from local teacher supply stores). Subscriptions are valid for one year. You may renew at any time. Renewing before your current subscription is expired will result in the addition of one year to your subscription.

  • Q: Which operating systems and browsers are supported by ClassroomZoom.com?

    A: ClassroomZoom.com is supported on both Macs and Windows computers, using a variety of browsers.

  • Q: Do you offer a free trial?

    A: Yes! A number of lessons and activities can be viewed and printed absolutely free! Just look for the FREE banner on lesson summaries. Math Wizard, Crossword, Wordsearch, Clip Art, and Favorites can only be accessed with subscription.

  • Q: Why should I subscribe to ClassroomZoom.com?

    A:

    1. Over 10,000 lessons and activities from Teacher Created Resource's collection of books in multiple subject areas:
    2. Math Wizard: create and print math worksheets in eight categories: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, currency, time, fractions, and measurement conversions.
    3. Crossword Puzzle and Word Search Generator: use any word list to create custom puzzles.
    4. Hundreds of Clip Art: search for clip art by subject (animals, people, places, shapes, signs, holidays, etc.). Download the images to your computer and use them as needed.
    5. Unlimited access to all ClassroomZoom.com features: visit ClassroomZoom.com any day at any hour without additional fees.
    6. A personal library of lessons and activities that you save from our database. Save your favorite and frequently-used lessons to access them quickly.

Account, Membership, and Billing

  • Q: How do I subscribe?

    A:

    1. Click on the Sign Up link on the menu on the left side of the page.
    2. On the following page, enter your email address and desired login name and password. (Passwords must be at least 6 characters in length and include both letters and numbers.) Enter your billing address and click the continue button.
    3. Verify your billing address and enter your credit card information.
    4. Click on the Subscribe button to charge your card and receive your one year subscription.

  • Q: My credit card was declined. What should I do?

    A: A declined credit card could mean a variety of things. When entering your credit card information, please be sure to do the following:

    1. Enter the entire credit card number without any spaces or dashes.
    2. Check that you entered the correct expiration date, and that your card hasn't expired.
    3. Enter the correct Card Verification Code (CVC).
    4. Check that the billing address given to ClassroomZoom.com matches the billing address that appears on your credit card statement.
    5. Check that you've entered the correct two-letter state abbreviation.

  • Q: How do I change my user name, password or email address?

    A: To change your user name and password , log in to your account then click on the Your Account link at the top right of the page. At the top of the page, click on the edit link. You can then change your user name, password and email address. For your protection, your password will be hidden. To change your password you will need to enter both the current and new password.

  • Q: How do I check the status of my account?

    A: Log in to your account then click on the Your Account link at the top right of the page. At the bottom of the next page is your subscription status. This will include the date of when your account will expire.

  • Q: How do I prepare my computer to use ClassroomZoom.com?

    A: ClassroomZoom.com requires a Mac (OS 10 or later) or PC (Windows 2000 or later) with an active Internet connection using the following browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Firefox 2.0 or later, Opera, or Safari 1.3.

    ClassroomZoom.com uses FlashPaper technology to display lessons and activities as Flash .SWF files. The latest version of Flash Player must be installed on your computer in order to view and print the lessons and activities. To download Flash Player for free, visit Adobe's web site at http://www.adobe.com

    Flash Player is also required to create and print Math Wizard Worksheets.

    If you wish to use our Clip Art to make fliers and other custom documents, you will need software such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, or other programs that will let you use JPG or EPS files. The JPG version of each Clip Art may be viewed and printed using your Internet browser.

    You do not need additional software to create Crosswords or Wordsearches.

  • Q: Can I share my subscription and printed materials with my colleagues or friends?

    A: No. Individual subscriptions can only be used by the individual account holder as described in our Terms and Conditions. Materials printed from ClassroomZoom.com by an individual subscriber may not be used in multiple homes, classrooms, or schools.

  • Q: Can I subscribe to ClassroomZoom.com with a purchase order?

    A: Yes. Please fax your purchase order to 800-525-1254. You may also call us at 888-343-4335 or send us an email at custserv@teachercreated.com.

  • Q: Other teachers at my school would like access to ClassroomZoom.com. Is there a group, school, or district license available?

    A: Yes. Multi-user licenses for ClassroomZoom.com are available. Please call us at 888-343-4335 or send us an email at custserv@teachercreated.com for more information.

  • Q: Does Teacher Created Resources share my contact information?

    A: We share member information with third parties that are essential for our operations or provide service to our customers, such as credit card processing.

    Periodically, we may share your information with a few companies who would like to send you special offers or information. If you prefer not to receive physical mail or email from other companies, please contact us and let us know.

  • Q: How do I renew my subscription?

    A: Log in to your account then click on the Your Account link at the top right of the page. At the bottom of the next page is your subscription status. This will include the date of when your account will expire. To the right of this will be a link to Renew. Click on the link and follow the instructions on the following pages.

  • Q: How do I cancel my membership

    A: At the end of your subscription, don't renew your membership to ClassroomZoom.com.

    Due to the nature of the services offered by ClassroomZoom.com, membership fees cannot be refunded. If, after 7 days from your purchase, you are not satisfied with ClassroomZoom.com, call Customer Service at 888-343-4335 to discuss your cancellation options.

    A: All of the lessons and activities are taken from Teacher Created Resources books.

  • Q: Are answer keys provided?

    A: Answer keys are included with the worksheets when appropriate.

  • Q: Are the lessons cross-curricular?

    A: Many of the lessons in ClassroomZoom.com are cross-curricular. You can find the subject areas each lesson belongs to on each lesson summary.

  • Q: Can I access ClassroomZoom.com from home or in the classroom?

    A: You can log in to your ClassroomZoom.com account from anywhere you can access the Internet. However, as per our Terms and Conditions, access to the web site and printed materials is granted only to the individual subscriber. For multi-user licenses, please call us at 888-343-4335 or send us an email at custserv@cteachercreated.com for more information.

  • Q: How do I save teaching units in my account?

    A: ClassroomZoom.com allows you to save your favorite lessons and activities within your account.

    On each lesson summary, look for the heart icon followed by a link for Add to Favorites. This link allows you to store lessons by Groups. When you click on this link, a small window will appear asking to which Group you want to save the lesson. The top part of the window will show any Groups you have already created, and the bottom part will allow you to create new Groups.

    For example, if your want to store all Science lessons together, click on the Add to Favorites link on the lesson you want to save. In the small window, type Science in the field under New Group, then hit the Create button. You will then be taken to your Favorites directory and you can see that the lesson is now saved in your Science Group.

    You can create as many groups as you want, and you can save lessons in as many groups as you need. You can remove lessons from groups by clicking on the delete icon.

  • Q: How do I print lessons?

    A: When you view a lesson, look for the print icon on the upper right of the page. Click on this icon to print the lesson.

  • Q: How long do lessons stay in my account?

    A: Lessons that you save in your Favorites will stay there until you remove them, or after you have canceled your account.

  • Q: How do I search for a lesson? Can I search by keywords?

    A: You may search for lessons using the following methods. Start by going to the main lessons page by clicking on the Lessons/Activities link on the menu on the left.

    1. Keywords: use the search box at the top of the Lessons/Activities page to enter keywords, and then click on the Search button.
    2. Advanced Search: click on the Advanced Search link to the right of the Search button to reveal more options, including subject area and grade level. When used with keywords, Advanced Search gives you more targeted results. For example, you may enter Greece in the search box, then choose Ancient History and Grade 6 from the drop-down menus, and click on the Search button to bring up all related lessons.

  • Q: How long will my teaching unit or activity take to print?

    A: The printable lessons in ClassroomZoom.com vary in page length. Printing lessons can take from under one minute to several minutes, depending on the length of the lesson or activity.

    A: Lessons/Activities is the main page for lessons. Start here to browse through Top Picks and Editors' Choice lessons, as well as search for lessons using keywords, subject, or grade level.

  • Q: What is Math Wizard?

    A: Math Wizard is an online math worksheet generator. With Math Wizard you can easily create custom work sheets for:

    1. Addition
    2. Subtraction
    3. Division
    4. Multiplication
    5. Fractions
    6. Currency
    7. Conversions
    8. Time

  • Q: What is Crossword?

    A: This is an online crossword generator. Enter your title, description, and a list of words and clues to generate a crossword puzzle that you can print out for your students.

  • Q: What is Wordsearch?

    A: This allows you to create custom wordsearch puzzles. Enter your own title, description, and list of words (plus optional clues) to generate a wordsearch puzzle that you can print out for your students.

  • Q: What is Clip Art?

    A: This is a collection of graphics that you can download and use for your fliers, reports, classroom decorations, stationery, lessons, and much more. Each piece of art is available in JPG and EPS format. These can be used with most software programs, including Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop, among others.

  • Q: What is Favorites?

    A: The Favorites section of your account is where your saved lessons are kept. This area allows you to access your favorite and often-used lessons all on one page. You may also assign categories to further organize your saved lessons.

Troubleshooting

  • Q: I can't remember my login information or I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

    A: If you have forgotten your user name or password, click on the Forgot your user name or password? link below the Log In button on home page. Enter the email address you used to create your account, and then click the Reset Password button. We will automatically send you an email that has your user name and a link to rest your password. Click on this link from your email or copy and paste it into your browser. You will then be asked to enter a new password.

  • Q: I am not able to print a specific lesson. What should I do?

    A: After ensuring that your printer can print documents from your computer, if you are still unable to print a specific lesson, please contact Customer Service at 888-343-4335 or custserv@teachercreated.com with the title and grade level of the lesson you are trying to print.

  • Q: How do I report broken pages or links?

    A: Contact Customer Service at 888-343-4335 or custserv@teachercreated.com with detail about where you found the broken page or link. Please note that we can only fix pages and links found on ClassroomZoom.com, teachercreated.com, and buyteachercreated.com.

  • Q: I can't seem to get FlashPaper to work. What should I do?

    A: FlashPaper requires a Flash-enabled web browser. Please download the latest version of Flash Player for free at Adobe's web site at http://www.adobe.com.
